International students accepted to our program and obliged to apply for a residence permit, must submit the following documents:
- A photocopy of the main page of applicant's passport
- 4 color passport photos(dimensions 40mm x 60mm)+1 digital photo in CD JPEG 2000 format
- Receipt of fees payment (150 euro +16 euro for the printed card) for 1 year residence permit. Our program officer will print the documents you need to pay in the bank, since the platform is only in Greek language
- Proof of current and continuous medical insurance,1 year duration (A Greek insurance according to the terms of residence permit is required, approximate cost 110 euro. We will provide the details
- Registration certificate from the university
- Receipt of university's fees payment or contract in case of fee scholarships from HELPE
- Proof of income. Bank statement that shows at least 400 euro/month in support of 12 months (The currency must be in euro, the bank statement in the name of the student and the date as close as possible to the application date)
- Birth certificate translated and verified from the Greek consular authorities

Petroleum Engineering postgraduate program of the Technical University of Crete is a one-year, full-time program, designed to provide students with a scientific background in hydrocarbon exploration and skills in the practical aspects of petroleum engineering. The program begins in October, and leads to a Master of Science (MSc) degree. The program is run by the School of Mineral Resources Engineering.
